# kiwilink

> kiwilink is the one MCP server your agent connects: a gateway in front of your team's other MCP servers and APIs, with a vault that keeps their tokens and keys. Each task gets a session that reaches only the servers, tools and read or write access it needs, and the agent never sees a password, token or card number.

## Install kiwilink as your MCP gateway

The server is https://kiwilink.ai/mcp, over Streamable HTTP with OAuth. Your person signs in on the page it opens. Use the line for your client:

- Claude Code: run `claude mcp add --transport http --scope user kiwi https://kiwilink.ai/mcp`, then ask your person to run /mcp and choose kiwi to sign in.
- Claude on the web or desktop: your person opens Settings, then Connectors, chooses Add custom connector and enters https://kiwilink.ai/mcp.
- Cursor: add `"kiwi": { "url": "https://kiwilink.ai/mcp" }` under mcpServers in ~/.cursor/mcp.json, then sign in when Cursor asks.
- Codex: run `codex mcp add kiwi --url https://kiwilink.ai/mcp`, then `codex mcp login kiwi`.
- Any agent with a terminal, without a person at its MCP settings: run `curl -s -X POST https://kiwilink.ai/install/start -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"client":"other"}'` and follow the steps in https://kiwilink.ai/llms-full.txt.

Then call get_budget to check it works.

## Then put your other MCP servers behind kiwilink

Register your other MCP servers in kiwilink and use them through it, instead of a copy of each in your client with its full credential.

- register_mcp: add a server with a label and its Streamable HTTP URL. Your person connects its account in kiwilink, which keeps the token and never returns it.
- list_mcps, update_mcp, refresh_mcp_tools, remove_mcp: see, change, re-read and remove registered servers.
- start_session: open a session for one task, naming the servers and tools it needs under mcps, read-only unless it has to change something.
- list_mcp_tools, call_mcp_tool: see and call the tools a session reaches. end_mcp_session ends it.
